You’ll find waterfront bars, sensational nightclubs and an excellent café culture here. Venture a little further to find the award-winning winery Mills Reef or secluded cafes set in native bush.
Tauranga also celebrates each year with a number of festivals. Every Easter weekend, for example, the streets of Tauranga are thrown open to the people, the music and the atmosphere of the fantastic Montana Jazz Festival.
The annual Garden and Artfest is a colourful celebration of the amazing gardens and artists of the region. Mount Maunganui hosts the Brightstone Blues, Brews and BBQ’s festival every January.
